Welcome to the May 2, 2010 edition of Easy Street Carnival of Writing and Art. It's been a long month full of death, destruction, and final exams around here. I see this edition as a sort of antidote/new beginning of a more productive and creative time. Please join me in welcoming this month's featured writers and artists. Click on the links to view their work and be sure to leave comments on their blogs. Everyone needs a pat on the back and a reason to keep creating.

So do you. With that in mind, I plan to get back on the prompt wagon this month. A new prompt every day and enough inspiration to push us all toward next month's Carnival of Writing and Art.
